Congratulations to Mrs. Grillette’s kindergarten class for earning our BES T.C.C. PE Class of the Week for 11-4/11-8. Her students were exceptionally well-behaved during their PE class this week. It is encouraging to see our youngest students practice good citizenship skills. Keep up the good work 😊


Upcoming Calendar Dates: BES has school on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2024. We are NOT closed. Thanksgiving Break(no school) is November 25-29, 2024. December 20, 2024 is a 60% day. Christmas Break(no school) is December 21-January 6, 2025. Students return on January 7, 2025.

Congratulations to Ms. McMillen’s 4th-Grade Class for earning our BES PE Class of the Week for 10-28/11-1. These students practiced great social skills in their PE class this week. With an emphasis on using good “teamwork, communication skills, and cooperation skills”, this group enjoyed a positive PE class. Keep up the good work😊

Congratulations to Ms. Smith’s 3rd grade class for earning our BES T.C.C. PE Class of the Week for 10-21/10-25. Her students were exceptionally well mannered and used wonderful social skills in their PE class this week. Their use of great”teamwork, communication skills, and cooperation skills” allowed these students to enjoy a safe and fun PE class. I am proud of these students 😊


Fourth grade students recently studied geography in social studies. One of their projects included creating their very own 3D map, including several details. As you can see, they did a great job! Way to go! #TEAMBES #MoveMarshall

Last week, students in 4th and 5th grade were rewarded with a field trip to Strike Zone Bowling Alley for scoring Proficient (level 4) or Advanced (level 5) on their MAAP ELA and/or MAAP Math Assessments during the Spring 2024 administration. Congratulations to Ms. Coleman’s kindergarten class for earning our BES T.C.C. PE Class of the Week for 10-7/10-11. Her students were exceptionally well behaved in their PE class this week. Their use of great social skills in their interactions with others allowed them to have a wonderful safe and fun class. Teamwork, Communication, and Cooperation skills were used in a positive way. Keep up the amazing work 😊

Students will be out of school for Fall Break on Monday, October 14th and Tuesday, October 15th. We hope all BES students and families enjoy their extended break. See you next Wednesday, October 16th.

Fall Festival 2024 will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 9am-1pm for Kindergarten-4th Grade students. Wristbands are $10. Concessions will be sold separately. It will be a fun-filled day! Parents are welcome to join in on the fun! #TEAMBES
