Meet Javier Yanez, a second-grade student of Galena School, has been the epitome of academic excellence throughout this school year. His classroom performance has been remarkable, with him consistently scoring proficient in Reading and Math on all three benchmark assessments. His commitment to his studies, coupled with his excellent behavior, has made his accomplishments inspire his classmates, proving that hard work and discipline can lead to great success.

Meet Houston Bridges, who has been an excellent role model for his peers. He is the class valedictorian of the class of 2024 with an overall GPA of 4.20. He is interning at a law firm in New Albany. He has also been accepted into the Honors College at the University of Mississippi majoring in Law. He serves as the senior class President. He has taken 6 dual credit courses and made nothing less than an A in each course. He works well with others and maintains a positive attitude with teachers and admin. He was also selected as the Star Student for Potts Camp with a composite ACT score of a 33!.
