Dr. Hale's Challenge
Dr. Hale's Challenge
My personal belief is that every child deserves a quality, equitable education. By putting students first, educators can provide the necessary educational opportunities to advance students in their endeavors. One of my goals is to unify our school district to work together to gain a higher accountability rating as a district, as well as in each school. Our first district meeting led us to work together as grade-level and subject- level teams. We will continue to strive for collaboration to build that unity. I have challenged the administration, faculty, and staff to be professionals, plan engaging lessons, provide a safe learning environment, be accountable, and navigate their course.

In an effort to prepare our students for the 21st Century, our faculty, staff, and stakeholders must understand the vision to advance our students using the latest research available. Using targeted support and training for administrators, teachers, and staff will provide a basis for effective school leadership. Using data to guide our instructional decisions will prescribe the necessary instruction to advance skills and correct weaknesses. Integrating literacy will strengthen the foundation for reading and writing in all subject areas. Advancing technological skills will provide our students with a means to become better problem-solvers finding answers to complex concepts. Providing opportunities for parents and caregivers to learn more about how to assist their children will strengthen the home to school environment. Partnering with stakeholders and industries will lead to students who are ready for workforce training, which is necessary for the economic development in the county, as well as the future of our students.

Effective schools are the roots that anchor a community. It begins with you and me, and it will not happen overnight. We have to work together to implement a quality educational program that addresses the needs of all our students, teachers, administrators, and the communities in which we live. I am excited to work with our school board members, administrators, faculty, staff, and community members in our school district. Let’s make this year a year of growing our students to reach their highest potentials!
