A New Chromebook for Every Student!

No more huddling around one small screen to do activities delivered via the internet; no more taking turns to take tests and other assessments online. As of Monday, February, 20, 2016 every student attending school at Mary Reid Elementary School has a new Lenovo N22 Chromebook to use all day, every day. Administrators and staff have known all year that this day was coming, and have been getting ready with special staff development and training, but it certainly is exciting to see the carts of computers finally arrive. Students, teachers and administrators alike are excited about the world of opportunities that access to technology might open up for new learning. Parents, ask your students what they learned today using their new Chromebook!

SchoolBlocks offers a unique and powerful personalized search system. A member of the public, searching for "homework" might see an announcement from the school as the first result. However, if the user is logged in, they would see their teacher’s latest homework assignment as the top result.
